Three cats lounge among their books in this hand-drawn illustration, loose brushwork catching each one mid-loaf with the easy charm of a sketchbook page. Golden yellow, dusty rose, and slate blue soften the warm white background, while quick black linework gives every whisker and folded paw its own personality. Playful and heartwarming, it is a love letter to slow afternoons — the kind spent with a good novel, a warm lap, and companions who have absolutely no intention of moving.
